The Sierra EV’s standard tires provide better handling because they have a lower 70 series profile (height to width ratio) that provides a stiffer sidewall than the Silverado EV Trail Boss’ standard 75 series tires.

For better ride, handling and brake cooling the Sierra EV offers optional 24-inch wheels. The Silverado EV’s largest wheels are only 22-inches.

The GMC Sierra EV has a standard EZ Lift-and-Lower Tailgate, which prevents the heavy tailgate from falling with a crash and causing injury. The Sierra EV’s standard easy entry system glides the driver’s seat back, making it easier for the driver to get in and out. An easy entry system costs extra on the Silverado EV, and is not available on all models.

The Sierra EV’s standard driver’s power window opens or closes with one touch of the window control, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths. The Silverado EV’s standard driver’s power window switch has to be held the entire time to close it fully.

The Sierra EV’s rain-sensitive wipers adjust their speed and turn on and off automatically based on the amount of rainfall on the windshield. This allows the driver to concentrate on driving without constantly adjusting the wipers. The Silverado EV’s standard manually variable intermittent wipers have to be constantly adjusted.

The Sierra EV has a standard heated steering wheel to take the chill out of steering on extremely cold winter days before the vehicle heater warms up. A heated steering wheel is only available on the Silverado EV LT/Trail Boss.

The GMC Sierra EV has a standard Homelink wireless remote control system for garage door operation and device management, conveniently located on the infotainment. Homelink® eliminates the need for separate garage door openers and associated risks of losing, breaking, or having dead batteries. Homelink® is only available on the Silverado EV LT/Trail Boss.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the GMC Sierra EV has a standard wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the center console. Only the Silverado EV LT/Trail Boss offers wireless charging.

The Sierra EV’s optional Enhanced Automatic Parking Assist can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. Remote Automatic Parking will park and retrieve your car remotely: press a button and watch it park itself. This is ideal for tight locations. The Silverado EV LT/Trail Boss’ automatic parking system does not offer parking by remote control.
